I am Heather, and I am the woman behind Heather Holbrook Photography. I wanted to take just a quick moment to introduce myself and explain to you why I do what I do.
My interest in photography dates back to childhood actually. I always remember being interested in cameras and photos. As an adult I got into scrapbooking which is centered around… photos! As I progressed in my hobby I became interested in improving the quality of my photos and so I invested in a DSLR camera. I never had any real intention of shooting outside of automatic- I just wanted better photos than I could get from a point and shoot. But one thing led to another and well, here I am.
In addition to my photography business I am a wife, and a stay at home momma to Henry and Lucie. Henry is on the Autism Spectrum and Lucie was born with Down syndrome. They have lit a fire of advocacy in me that has translated to all aspects of my life… including my photography.
Thank you for spending a little bit of your time here with me today, I hope you will want to come back again.
